Andre K
Born in Colombo, on the tropical island of Sri Lanka. Then in 1977, with his family, migrated to Australia, where he has lived ever since. At an early age Andre was exposed to music, everything from Elvis to Jimi Hendrix to the Beatles, even to Frank Sinatra. As he became older his musical tastes began to grow from his childhood staples of good old rock and roll to the r&b, funk stylings of Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Parlaiment, and Prince to name a few.
